GETTING STARTED

Each project starts with a complementary Discovery Call to meet you, get a sense for your needs, goals for the space,  and budget, and work together to figure out which of our services meets your needs. 

Once you choose a service, we do a follow up 90-120 minute Listen + Learn session. We’ll come to you and see how you live (or work) and get a sense of the existing architecture. We’ll also look at inspirational photos and samples of materials and finishes to see what you gravitate towards. All of this helps us get a sense of the overall vision of how you’d like the new space to look and feel. This Listen + Learn session is billed at a flat fee.

FULL SERVICE DESIGN

Our Full-Service Design focuses on new builds and renovation as well as decorating whole spaces. This service is for clients who would like to partner with us from start to finish and leans on our expertise for taking care of all the details. After the Listen + Learn Session, the phases are:

Design Development: Development of design board(s) that will curate an arrangement of furniture, materials and finishes to bring our design concept to life. The Listen and Learn session feeds into the development of these boards. 

Planning / Quoting: Fine tuning of the design boards and estimating the cost for the work. A final budget for procurement and any other considerations will be shared for your approval prior to moving forward.

Project Management / Administration: Procurement, scheduling, and the behind-the-scenes logistics will commence alongside the selected builder, sub-contractors and tradespeople. Project management and communication of any and all details and related to construction and fabrication happen in this stage.. 

Installation: We’ll handle every aspect of the delivery and install on your behalf for a truly bespoke experience. Our coordination and oversight will be managed down to the very last detail (pillow fluffing, art work nudging, etc). 

DESIGN VISION

This service offers those who want help with the design vision to ensure all pieces are cohesively talking to each other. This service is tailored to clients who are design-savvy and project-oriented. Once the big picture is established with us, clients are comfortable to hit the ground running on their own. After the Listen and Learn Session, the phases are:

Design Development: Development of conceptual design boards that will curate a collection of design elements which are derived from the Listen + Learn session. These elements can include but not limited to: color palette, pattern and motifs suggestions,  furniture styles, cabinet selections, material finishes.

Implementation Guide: Delivery of an implementation package that provides guidance and information of the conceptual design boards in order to successfully re-imagine your space. Sourcing of products may be available and at the discretion of CVD. One Q&A session for any follow up questions after the guide has been delivered is included. Duration of the Q&A is dependent upon the project’s scope and will be shared at the start of this service.
